Prof Dr. Humi Kayani is a highly trained eye specialist. She is fellowship trained from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (FRCS) and College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (FCPS). She further has fellowship training in Viteroretinal diseases and Surgery from Jules Stein Institute, University of California (UCLA), USA and a diploma in Aesthetics from American Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
In her surgical practice of over 20 years she has helped tens of thousands of patients including patients from all over the world. Prof. Dr. Huma has performed thousands of eye procedures to date and counting. These procedures range from minor to most complicated cases. She is deeply committed to providing the best possible individualized care to each of her patients.
As the head of the eye department of one of the largest and prestigious institution of Pakistan she is committed to teaching and holds a master's degree in Health Professional Education (MHPE) from the University of Health Sciences Pakistan. Dr. Huma is trusted by her colleagues, students and most importantly her patients for her impeccable care, superior medical knowledge and meticulous surgical skills. Being on the planning committee of major national ophthalmic meetings and an invited lecturer nationally and internationally she strives to stay on the leading edge of development in her field. In addition she takes a keen interest in clinical research and has written extensively for multiple ophthalmic publications. As such, she is superbly proficient with all the latest ophthalmologic technology and techniques.
